Andruw Jones at 7.5% is stupid. Greatest defensive CF to ever play the game and that is it?

The fact that Rivera was unanimous is a an absolute joke compared to all of thefar greater legends that came before him.

Mussina in and Schilling not is also fricking laughable.

Half of the class is a very weak. The hall of fame has become the hall of "you had a good career"

And they have now opened the door for DH. I would expect Ortiz, who was a better player than Martinez by a mile, will now be unanimous.

Btw, I'd take Schilling in a 1 game Postseason situation over Halladay or Mussina and it ain't even close. It's ridiculous.

There is a bunch of bizarre in the numbers. Like Scott Rolen was a terrific defensive third baseman, has a 70 WAR, nowhere near election at this point. Edgar Martinez with a lower WAR and could only play part of the game took 10 years, but he got in. I wonder if Rolen's brilliance with the glove will be treated the same way as Edgar's with the bat.

Here's an interesting graphic I saw on deadspin that I thought I'd share.

Not pictured: Placido fricking Polanco.

The fact the writers won’t put in Schilling because of his politics is utter bullshite

the fact they voted Mussina in over him is a disgrace to the HOF

That statline for WAR is all you Need to know to see that it's a fricking highly flawed stat that, for some reason, some people believe is the end all be all now.

The fact that Bonds has a significantly higher score in his first half, Than his roid years is just a joke.

He was great before, no one is disputing that, but steroid bonds was the single most dominant baseball player anyone of us will ever see play.

Plus Schilling being behind Mussina is again just a joke.

Not a good day for Bonds and Clemens though. Only got maybe a 3% boost. 3 more years on the ballot and are still 15% away. It would be a gigantic tragedy if those two don't make the HOF because of the uptight HOF voters.

You're kinda barking up the wrong tree here cause 2001 through 2004 make up 4 of the top 5 WAR seasons for bonds
