No coach is going to want to take a job with a team that fires a coach who has won three Super Bowls in the last five years over one bad year.
Yeah sounds like a horrible spot. There's 32 of these jobs, in the WORLD. I think somebody would want it.
That being said, he isn't going anywhere just yet.

And how many of them did Ben Johnson turn down before going to the Bears? How many times has Jerry Jones offered the Cowboys job to someone who turned it down because they didn't want to have to deal with Jerry Jones every work day? Yeah, there are 32 of those jobs in the world so you had better be able to get one of the best 32 coaches in the world to take that job or else you are swimming upstream from the rest of the league. The Jets, Cardinals, Browns, Falcons, Bengals, Raiders, and Dan Snyder era Redskins out front should have told you that.

Their offense hasn’t been the same since Bieniemy left. He isn’t a good coach on his own but Bieniemy on the Chiefs works.

Andy Reid isn't retiring off his first bad year in Kansas City. That's not happening. They need to rebuild a little bit, it needs to be done after winning Super Bowls.

Sure, I agree with you that getting a good coach is a good plan.
However, it's not like they would go into next year not being able to find a coach because they fired the last one.

Chiefs need a a reboot and had an all time run
Andy solidified his status as a HOF coach and career. But he and the franchise need a new start.
Drinkwitz to the chiefs would be the most logical move.
Drink would be good carrying a Gatorade bottle on the sidelines hydrating the Chiefs players.

Problem with sports in today’s society. Andy Reid has been a winner up until this year. Why would he step down like the game passed him by ?
I give Reid another 2-3 years and I think he's done, particularly if the Chiefs can't figure out how to protect Mahomes and if Mahomes in his older age can't figure out how to become more of a drop back/pocket QB.

So one off-year and it's time to reset everything? They were just in the Super Bowl last year.

Andy Reid is a loser in life. All he has is being a Head Coach. Now that he can't win at that, it's time to hang it up and try to get his family and his weight under control.

He needs to drop some LBs. you can’t stay that big into old age. He’s 67…and has to be 300 pounds. Get on the shot and drop it Andy
300lbs? Nah, Andy has to be between 350 and pushing 400lbs. He definitely should look into the GLP-1 inhibitors and try to drop some major weight. Being that size at his age and the stress of being a head coach is a recipe for an early grave.

Needs 40 wins to tie
Belichek and Reid are just proving that Shula’s record won’t be touched… no owner is going to waste years helping their coach eke out enough wins on a mediocre team vs rebuilding and older coaches don’t do rebuilds
Maybe now Sean Payton has the best chance

The offense is so predictable. The league has figured out the offense and we don't seem to make any adjustments to this. The defense cannot get any pressure without blitzing. Chris Jones needs help on the line. Karloftis is ok but if he is your #1 defensive end you have issues. Danna and Omenihu have been disappointments.

He's still a great coach, but those 4th down tries deep in his own territory against Houston were terrible and unnecessary, especially given how bad the Texans offense looked.

I don't pull for them ever but I do like Andy and Patrick. I wanted to see Travis get really jacked up in a game well before Swift. Hate that big slug.
If Andy is up for a rebuild let him do it.
