I don’t know anything about that, I’m just stating that michigan fans have said that it was nothing and the cheating scandal wasn’t a big deal.
The report today showed it was a very big deal and had tons of evidence. Sherrone lied and deleted messages. The findings even said that they should have a 2 year ban.
Ohio State fans werent wrong it created an unfair advantage. And michigan fans are ok with cheating

The level of OSU fan fiction out there rivaled As the Plains Burn

I guess what's most impressive is fans of a program that actually had to vacate wins trying to take some type of moral high ground.

My UM buddy posted this on another forum. It got a laugh out of me.

Anything less than actually stripping that national championship is a W for Michigan. Just about every program in the country would gladly trade a 5 year post season ban for 1 national championship.
I'm never a fan of vacating wins or championships from anyone or post season bans for future teams to deal with but in this case the big ten and ncaa caught Michigan in the act and had a chance to step in during the season. They basically knew the extent of what Michigan did and could have punished Michigan on the spot so someone else could have won the 2023 title. Once they allowed that season to play out none of this was ever going to matter.

This is the ncaa that Scott Woodward got on his knees for and fired Wade.

PremierDrum said multiple times that games being vacated and postseason bans were simply his prediction and that the COI could go an entirely different route. He correctly got ahead of basically every single news dump that came out over the past 2 years once the scandal started. He was waaaaaay more correct than Balas, who is a complete dipshit I might add.
There were 2 other posters that were basically doing the same thing as him and they all had different opinions on the final punishment. I think the one guy that was in Netflix doc was spot on about the NCAA being useless and predicting nothing big would happen.
I’m pretty certain the practice footage rumor was confirmed to be true but it had to do with Weiss’ computer crimes FBI investigation.

There is an “insider” on OSU’s main forum (eleven warriors.com) who is basically the man responsible for spreading the idea that a hammer was coming for UM. His name is “premierdrum”
He was present for 2 years in a 473 pg thread on the sign stealing. He was adamant that UM was going to lose the title and the conference titles. He also claimed to have knowledge that the ncaa also had evidence of hacking they supplied to fbi.
It wouldn’t suspense me if eleven warriors banned premierdrum

You’re honestly going to look like a fool if going there just to troll him. He’s been practically spot on about everything other than his punishment prediction.

I mean what OSU fans were saying was proven true. The punishment is completely different than the crime

What? The announcement of their “penalty” is the literal definition “not a big deal”.

Then you either don’t know how to read or you’re unintelligent enough to understand.
“ A postseason ban is required in this case. Michigan's case is Level I-Aggravated. See Bylaw 19.12.7.1 (establishing that postseason bans are reserved for Level I cases that lack exemplary cooperation and shall be prescribed in Level I-Aggravated cases). Michigan is also a repeat violator. See Bylaw 19.12.6.2 (identifying that repeat violator status is sufficient grounds to prescribe a postseason ban, even in cases where the institution earned exemplary cooperation).
Given those facts, a multi-year postseason ban would be appropriate.
And also
“ As stated above, the scheme was, at a minimum, intended to provide Michigan with a substantial or extensive competitive advantage. The panel concludes that all 56 instances of scouting occurred, and they resulted in violations of Bylaws 10 and 11. Those violations are Level I.”
So are you stupid???

Bad press. Maybe deters a recruit or 2 away. Giving him a worse roster. A roster that already has never produced a good WR in seemingly decades by now.
