I think I see the problem here. The queen has probably been chirping in his ear since the day they got married about how he needs to get his respek(and her money).
I have no problem believing that the family tried to screw him over. I just refuse to believe his dumbass just found out.

Several questions here:
-At what point did Oher realize he was not legally adopted? If he thought he was adopted back then, I'm curious why didn't he try to change his last name? First thought is maybe he knew then and that's why he never changed his last name?
-Could Oher have legally made a profit off the book that was written & published about him while still in college or the movie that was produced while still in college, even though the movie didn't complete and release until after he graduated??? NIL was not a thing back then. If not then I would hope the Tuohys would have set something up to where he could get royalties from it at a certain point. Unless that has anything to do with my next point...
-Apparently he signed his rights to the movie away in 2007, he was already a legal adult that time around 20-21 years old, but now he's saying he did not understand what he was signing. IF TRUE then how could nobody that he associated with tell him that was not a good idea??? Knowing or unknowingly, how could you legally fight that being that you signed that kind of documentation at 20-21 years old adult
-I have no issue with Tuhoys including their biological children in the proceeds as their stories were in the film as well and any parent would want to help their kids get money.
-I'm unfamiliar with the exact differences between Adopting vs Legal Guardian vs Conservatorship but from what I've read for an adult to be a Conservatee it would have to be appointed by the judge who would have to essentially declare them to not have the mental capacity to handle their daily affairs. Regardless, that paperwork should be easily attainable to prove or disprove anything that may have been shady.
IF the Tuohys did any of that for the purposes of making money off of Oher while simultaneously screwing him then they are pieces of shite!
If the Tuohys did not legally adopt him for the purpose of not feeling he deserved a % of their family money then I can also understand that, even though I can see where others may not

Tuohy family has always been a bunch of fake, arrogant SOB's.
Played against little Sean in high school. No athletic talent whatsoever, but started because of his daddy. He'd whine and bitch whenever he'd get hit by one of our guys in football (CBHS). In basketball we'd spotlight scream the shite out of him from the stands. Super easy target.
It was obvious from the get go that Sean and LA weren't taking in some random black kid off the streets out of the goodness of their hearts. They profited majorly off the ordeal. The whole story is a fake Hollywood line.
