If it had been 15 years since we won the SEC then we might do it too. I know wha you are saying in general. But I think this is deserving.

Although I agree that it does appear gay to rush the field as much as they do, in Oregons defense, they allow fans on the field after every game. It is a tradition to go out on the field. They just get out there a lot faster after a big win.
Also Oregon fans are still very excited about their program. Winning Championships has not become the expectations as it has at LSU in recent years.

this has hurt the every game attitude of our fans. It's cool, I think we still get up for the big games.

Who the frick cares if a school's fans rush the field, anyway? They're having fun. Heaven forbid people actually have fun at a sporting event...
I don't care if fans rush the field after every game, to tell you the truth.

My first reaction was also "you're better than that"
When I realized they hadn't been to the Rose Bowl in a very long time I reconsidered... been kept down by USC as well as their own performances down the stretch some years

At least they didn't lose by 47 and rush the field like Northwestern did in 1981
