Memo to Oregon fans: Stop Rushing the Field

It was cool the first time you won a big game and rushed the field, but it's starting to get a little old.
It's not like your program has sucked the last couple decades.

LSU has never been to the Rose Bowl, and our fans wouldn't rush the field if we did. Oregon is a top tier program, enough of the rushing the field IMO.
They seem to rush the field after every big game in Eugene these days.

Beat their huge rival to clinch the Rose Bowl in a close game. Don't get why this is a big deal.

I guess I can see the excitement...
It would be different if Oregon had really sucked for the last 15 years, but they've been in national title contention quite frequently over that time span. It's not like they've "come out of nowhere" to win the Pac10.
Just seems a little corny and ameteur IMO to rush the field given the status of Oregon's program. Congrats to them, though ... great accomplishment.

LSU also was the laughing stock of the SEC for 15 years prior to Saban arriving.
I get it, Rose Bowl, awesome achievement for a school that hasn't been there in forever. I just think the comparison to LSU rushing the field in 2001 is comparing apples to oranges. Oregon has been a major player in college football for a long time running now. They're not some upstart program.
