These games don’t mean a damn thing
They have been more entertaining, competitive, and more compelling to watch than the 12 team CFP that you and the rest of the simps are so glad we have.

Imagine a player doing that on Ralph’s team
He’d kick him in the nuts then put his cig out on his fricking forehead.

I assumed it was predetermined that he was sitting as soon as he broke the receiving record

College Football is a joke in 2024/2025, it’s a free for all where nothing really matters. Supposed amateur athletes have more power than players in professional leagues. It’s all about the money, which is the way it’s always been in conferences like the SEC, now it’s out in the open. I love watching Coaches like Nick Saban pretending like it never happened. ESPN money and gambling being legal in most of the country has destroyed College Football. Some love it, but I’m solidly in the camp of people that don’t really care about College Football anymore.

Kid can do what he wants!! It’s his future

I still watch the games because I like sports but I don't take it seriously. Years ago I'd get bummed out of my team lost, now I just flip to the next game and grab another beer. My passion is near gone. Eventually, maybe, I'll find other things to do with my time.

I took Iowa state when I heard he was playing.

If his departure was planned ahead of time I think it makes sense so next year's guys get reps.

Guys that are looking to get meaningful snaps next year should get reps in the bowl game. Bowl games are utterly meaningless so why not

Nabors did it last year
Why does this have so many upvotes
Nabors didn’t pull himself out, coaches yanked him after breaking the record. Very very early too, not at half

…you should really watch a Bears game

Absolutely shameful compared to someone like this. Sr year, playing an absolute nobody and a guaranteed future top 10 pick. Literally put it all on the line and he wasn't even getting paid
Different era with different norms

According to this board, one is a bust and one is a future HOFer.
One’s team winning percentage improved by 40% and one’s team winning percentage decreased by 16% after those two QBs joined the team. Not that you care about wins and losses as long as a player’s stats look good losing.

If you’ve ever listened to a Cam Ward interview you can tell he has a room temp IQ. He will bust badly.
Posted on 12/29/24 at 1:22 am to Kinderman
Half of his tds came in fcs.....at incarnate word....I don't recognize his record...keenum did it all as at Houston period

Those in favor of NIL and player empowerment support this.

And the really sad part is that Ward doesn’t give a flying shite that he did quit on his team and let them down.
Boy I love today’s attitudes and mindsets of these college athletes.

It's really difficult for me to have sympathy for the "muh his future" crowd in this era of NIL. Since 2022, Cam Ward has received over $1 million in NIL money, much of it in cash. Give me that kind of money over two years and a regular paying job until I retire and I'll be set for life. He hasn't played a single minute of professional football and the kid is already a millionaire. So please spare me with the "muh injury" bullshite. That argument could fly five years ago but it won't fly today.

Agree.
This little character flaw will show up again in the pros. Book it.
