Watching the interview with Jacques Doucet it'll never happen. He doesn't harbor ill will but he was speaking real talk about why LSU lags behind in basketball and we probably won't address/fix any of that.

Link? I’d like to hear his thoughts

Pretty much helped me get over letting him go.

He basically said he tapped out potential at LSU without major changes.

Just hope he doesn't land elsewhere in the SEC

LSU without more admin support is apparently only good for a top 15-20 program.

That’s why he was really fired. Scotty didn’t wanna pay and was tired of Wade bitching about it.

t’s always that quick! He conquered the mighty sec in year 2. He knows analytics and how to build a roster.

He will do it again next year or in 2 years at his next stop.

While I agree, I still think Woody sacrificed basketball to save football. O probably did some really shady shite with all that OLOL stuff, and I think they gave up Wade who was pissing off the blue bloods running to the ncaa accusing him of doing the same things they’d been doing since jumpstreet

That’s the dumbest theory and not how the NCAA works.

not just that...the olqh was way before O. it was under Les and it really had nothing to do with the program. They gave a couple former players family money to launder the money. They were giving that money to the program, they were stealing it.

elprez...before making dumbass comments, might want to educate yourself...just a little.

He delivered on his promise and Mcneese and Lake Charles are thrilled to have him. He has done so much for the university and city after everything this area has been through. It is not only about basketball, he has definitely helped the enrollment of MSU and the money he has now brought in. Plus what they will get depending how for they advance in the tournament. Also A.D. Heath Schroyer and Dr. Rousse have played a role in helping the school make a comeback.

I think they'll get a 12. There's no way they're getting a 10. There's maybe like a 1 or 2% chance they'll get an 11 but that's the best I can see them getting and it's extremely unlikely. A 10 is just dreaming. A 12 or 13 is the most likely outcome, so I'll lean 12.

13 sounds right.

30-3 is a gaudy record, but the Southland is one of the lower tier conferences so I don’t imagine the selection committee will put them too high.

Will Wade had no idea what kind of team he’d have, and he knew he’d be serving a 10 game suspension when the seasons started so the non conference wasn’t that great either. Next season he’s going to have a strong NET non conference schedule.

I keep see this theory pop up on TD every now and then. Always presented with no evidence.

I really don't believe the NCAA officials told Scott, "look, we see the violations by Coach O but if you don't hand over Will Wade we will go after Orgeron".
