I wonder if Stafford feels that way.

No one is saying what she did at the time is an outrage.

Have you not read the thread where she's constantly being called a cleat-chasing skank and whore? Attractive kids frick in college. Mostly multiple people. Probably the main reason people go to Georgia, for the awesome Athens nightlife. And 1 poster said something about how could a future NFL QB have such low standards? I'm gonna say the % of married NFL players (QBs or otherwise) who wifed up virgins is just about zero. There may be a handful of guys who married their high school sweetheart. And there's a typical OT misogyny piece to this. If the roles were reversed, Stafford wouldn't be catching the same shite.

Putting it on display for the whole world while you have a marriage and four kids is trashy and emasculating to her husband.

This is obviously the issue and her only real sin, where she actually fricked up. Zero reason for her to have spoken about this. But she's probably just not very media savvy and a little stupid when it comes to this. She probably thought it was a cute story about how they wound up together, she wasn't out to actively emasculate him. And honestly, dude has probably made over $300 million, won a Super Bowl, will wind up fishing really high in a couple of big all time NFL stats and is likely a future Hall of Famer who seems pretty universally loved. I'd imagine he's pretty secure, and though I'm sure he wishes this hadn't come out like this, I doubt he feels all that emasculated.

That seems to be the case. When she couldn't get what she wanted from one player, she went and shacked up with another one in a psychotic ploy to get back at the first one. And it doesn't matter if they had sex or not - the presumption will always be that they were having sex. Once that seed is planted, it's over.

She obviously has no respect for him, yet she decided to marry all that NFL money he's got, and let's be honest - that's what she married. She chased those cleats all the way to the bank.

Reasonable point. However...Pretty wide gulf between virgin and skank.

It's not misogyny to impose standards on a woman or to defend a man.

Stafford is catching shite all over the internet for his role in this, even the parts that aren't his fault - because that's how men get treated. This misogyny stuff is a trope. Men are accused first, blamed first, believed last, and rarely ever defended.

If the roles were reversed he'd be getting called a bitch for not going about his life and trying to make some girl jealous, by other men. And he'd be catching hell from women for sure, who would say he slept around with a side piece trying to make this girl jealous, probably used that as an excuse to bang more chicks, and that even if she married him later, he would still go around and cheat because that's the level of respect for her blah blah blah. If the roles were revered, you'd have women commentators and women's groups and all sorts of activists trying to cancel Stafford right now. Imagine how they would portray her getting in his car and telling him some other girl wasn't right for him - she'd be hailed as some angel, desperate for him to love her, while he's out banging hoes. They'd be projecting a bunch of abuse on her due to his deeds.

Respect is the most fundamental aspect in a relationship and she showed the world that she has none for her husband. She deserves every bit of heat she's getting.

Might have been Stetson Bennett. I’m pretty sure that was his 1st freshman year.

For a player who was going to be drafted early and could have other non-bitchy females at college and in the NFL why did he chase and marry her. She is not that great before you get to the awful narcissistic personality.

This is what gets me. He didn't want to get serious. She fricks the backup. He now wants to get serious? That should have been confirmation that he was correct to not get serious with her. He's the star QB of the football team, he'd have found somebody else, possibly one that wouldn't blab their personal biz to the whole world.
