I'm curious if they would want anything in return if the O's can include Davis in the deal.

Machado, Davis; $15MM for a dozen baseball bats.

I don’t want him to leave.

But I want him to get a ring.

Report during winter meetings was White sox and Cardinals had big offers, with Cardinals having possibly best to Orioles. So local guys wanted to get Bob Nightengale on.

When the local guys talked to Bob nightengale, he couldn't mention names, but the guest host for the week was a former player who has ties to team and players.

He said Mo gave Orioles a piece of paper, that had Flaherty, weaver, hudson, alcantra, etc(reyes was off the table), and could pick 2, and then a list with their OF prospects, and could pick one. Guy said Orioles said no way, not enough and wanted Reyes added to list, Mo said No.

Bob Nightengale when asked about this, wouldn't say yes or no, but hinted that it was what he heard or was hearing.

Cardinals ended up moving alcantara and an OF prospect in move for Ozuna.

Yankees still make the most sense on paper. With the NL being as wide open as it is right now I think there’s several NL teams that could get in the mix. Orioles should get a good return but they tend to frick shite up

Well.....it looks like it wont br happening if the orioles are really turning these offers down

Hearing multiple stories about offers the #Orioles have turned down for Machado and I'm just shaking my head. Talk about a poorly ran organization. The Baltimore fans deserve better!

Dodgers offered number 1 and 8 prospects plus others. I heard the Brewers offered 2 of their top 10 prospects. Dbacks offered mutiple young arms. The Orioles want 2 mlb ready SPs plus. They are insane

I don't see a team willing to take on the Davis contract for two or three months of Machado

God damn. They will never get what they are asking for a rental. They should have dealt him last year.

Good news is that he's 89 years old so he probably doesn't have much time left. Bad news is that his sons will take over and there's no signs they'll be much of an improvement over their father.
