no she didn't
She didn’t mention Clark specifically but she definitely said there’s a white privilege and “pretty” privilege in the wnba which is just as bad
Basically if you’re white you should feel guilty or if you’re pretty you should feel guilty.
Imagine hating yourself so much they have to say this lol

Yeah, no shite. Its called society.... Ever hear of Hollywood? Nobody wants to watch tatted up Dennis Rodman impersonators. Movie stars are good looking for a reason. .Supply and demand by the public.
Gotta bend the knee....Which Brink did.
How is possible that you agreed With her statement, but still acting like she said something wrong at the same time?

I’m just impressed she was an explosive enough athlete to actually tear the ligament.
Hopefully she rehabs to bring her marginally fine arse up enough to slap the backboard on her layups

He used his mental gymnastics degree to acknowledge pretty white chicks have an advantage in society but god forbid anyone say that it benefits them when it comes to TV ratings.

No, I said people like what they like....that's not privilege.
That's life.
Nobody is owed to be famous.
Did Michael Jordan have white privilege? Kobe? Maybe the public just liked watching them play....It's not like all of white society just wanted to watch Bird play....when people live life through the prism of skin color like Angel Reese, they assume everyone else does too...There's nothing interesting about Amazonian women like Reese and Brink missing layups and then putting it back in.

privelege just means advantage, benefit, opportunity.
it doesn't have to have a negative connotation and cameron brink didn't use it with any negative connotation.
it's just life, as you just admitted.
and pretty young white chicks have an advantage over me, you, and any of their ugly arse teammates no matter their race

i like how you tried to shift the goalposts with this.
noone ever said privelege was incapable of being overcame.
If I get dealt Ace-King and you get dealt King-Jack, that doesn't mean you wont come out on top, just that the odds are slightly tilted in my favor.

She's a svelt, seemingly non-muscled girl who plays exciting basketball.
If this whole issue was race, why wasn't Sue Bird America's sweetheart? Or that other UConn lesbian?
Is being hetero now a privilege?
You can't force people to like something and that's what the media is trying to do. They're acting like the public never liked a black player in the NBA.. Just maybe, just maybe, they don't like the Reese style of play., attitude, demeanor, character and not her melanin.

The most privileged athlete of modern sports. He definitely benefitted from white privilege. You don't have to be white to benefit. Ask LeBron James. Corporate darling=white man's darling, therefore white privilege. Some would be wise to remember when they cast aspersions due to systemic racism. Your greatest heroes greatly benefit from it. Rappers, athletes, movie stars even authors. Without white privilege we likely wouldn't know who they are. A thank you would suffice.

This is what happens when the “Nappy Headed Hos” of Rutgers win against Don Imus.
Most people in the casual audience would rather watch Allen Iverson, even at this stage of his career at the Big 3 level, than a bunch of women who look like Iverson and have a fraction of his game even today.
But it is politically incorrect to say that having players who don’t look like they are from Cell Block 4 would be a boost to the product.

ESPN told these men to watch women’s basketball so now they watch it.

Do you people really watch the WNBA, or do you just copy/paste stories that you see on Twitter?
