Do you people really watch the WNBA, or do you just copy/paste stories that you see on Twitter?

Probably more copy/pasting from Facebook and Truth Social around here

her marginally fine arse up

very apt description of Brink...

for a WNBA player, she's hot.... outside of that, she's a chick with a good body, but so-so face....

If this whole issue was race, why wasn't Sue Bird America's sweetheart? Or that other UConn lesbian?

It's not an all or nothing deal. It's a multitude of reasons. Obviously Caitlin is extremely talented, and she plays basketball like very few women ever. Her play in the tournament, along with the Angel Reese controversy, and her phenomenal senior year all led to her stardom. At the same time, you're lying to yourself it you said she would have the exact same stardom right now if she was black and lesbian.

Yes. How many times have posters on here blamed players in the WNBA's sexuality for the reasons they refused to watch. Obviously it's nothing wrong with being straight, but don't deny reality.

Let's be real, would Matt Walsh be making videos about her if she was black lesbian? Would she be able he MSB's hero where they must defend her at every moment if she wasn't straight or white?

Yes.

There's a distinct difference between privilege and preference. Every entertainer only makes money if they appeal to their audience. You're not appealing to Joe Public....it's simple economics, not privilege.... Everyone has the same opportunity to appeal to the public. If you don't, that's on you.

If you can't sell your lifestyle or style of play and are angry and tatted up don't blame the viewers. Nobody is obligated to watch you....you must change if you want the chartered flights, not the audience.

Every entertainment endeavor has always made appealing to the general public the #1 goal....that's how you make money....that's why the WNBA doesn't make money outside of Clark.

It can go hand in hand though.

everyone doesn't have that same opportunity. If you're conventionally attractive, you will appeal much more easily to the broader public.

Nobody said you're obligated to watch. Do as you please. But it's like you're glossing right over the point. You admit that the broader public doesn't like their lifestyle and their look. That's privilege. If you have to change yourself in order to be acceptable to the broader public. That means you don't have the privilege. You have it rougher in that aspect.

Privilege is not a bad thing. Everyone has it in some areas, and lack it in others. It's not something to be ashamed of. It's just a fact of life. It can help with understanding others and having empathy.

Who replaces her 3x3 Olympics?
Angel Reese

I'm pretty sure neither meets the FIBA requirements to be on the 3x3 team.
