I really liked the original devil rays branding way better than the soulless crap they have now. Both of the 90s expansion Florida baseball teams had really cool logos and colors back then.

Every team that hired the design firms that essentially make every logo look very similar. The cartoonish character above the school name and mascot spelled out, darker colors, sharp edges and the black shadowing that tries to make it 3d.
At some point in the early 2000s a the greatest marketer ever convinced half the school presidents and ADs to switch their official logos to this type garbage.
