Dutchtown comes back from a 14 point deficit to beat STA 35-28.

LCA 55
Central 48

What was Central's coaching complaining about with the time at the end? One of their guys jumped offsides while the clock was running. They had no timeouts. You don't get a free clock stoppage. That would be the easiest trick in the book.

That was wild. Guess St James doesn’t have a kicker they trust with a 27yd attempt?

5 seconds left and a timeout. Maybe they were trying a Les Miles throw to endzone and hope that a second remains if incomplete.

They were too busy celebrating, all week, their state championship win against Jesuit.

Should’ve been 31-0, that one touchdown on that long run was helped by the wide out completely holding the defender.. Terrible miss call..

Rummel’s defense made up for that debacle last week against Curtis.

Catholic’s coaching is bad enough.

I hate to say it because he’s a good guy but the coaching has really dropped off.

It hasn’t been their best this year but he usually concerned about building towards their hopeful playoff run but the last two weeks have not been on point ….. really need to figure out their passing game.

Not Louisiana but I just saw, in Mississippi, that Forrest County Agricultural beat Moss Ponit, 6-0, in 5 OTs.

LCA is GOOD. Very good QB and running game. Need to clean up some of the unsportsmanlike penalties. They got called for a lot of them. If they get that sorted out, they are gonna be a tough team to beat come playoff time.

They don’t have a passing game. Hearing they have a transfer that will start next year and freshman who is good that will start the following two years

LCA has always been their own worst enemy.

LCA is very good and will likely win state. In 2A. They competed in 4A for several years with Ju’Juan but never won the title. They can easily win in 2A.

Thought the starter was a senior. I know the sophomore was pushing him.

My buddy coaches at FCAHS and said they made 8 turnovers (2 in ot and still somehow won)

Catholic got absolutely screwed. The ball is punched out while he’s running. They rule “down by contact”. WHAT? The runner only hit the ground when he tackled the guy who recovered his fumble.

I hate to be caught in that moment, but that was one of the worst calls I've ever witnessed in high school football. I can't even wrap my head around how that official could consider the runner being down before the ball came out. It was a standard punch out from behind while the guy runs up the field. Like you said, he doesn't even begin to go to the ground until he attempts to make a play on the already recovered fumble.
