Doyle should be in 7-3A instead unless they wanted that.

How much longer will this stupid split be in effect for?

It’s getting beyond ridiculous

It is still asinine to split up EBR and not allow Ascension and Livingston to play together. I guess they gave an F-U to the petition.

Kind of feel bad for Karr's baseball, softball, volleyball, and soccer teams. That's going to be a rough schedule.

While the Bayou hasn't been tearing it up in all sports this just became the best baseball district in 4A.

Last Spring these schools produced:

Co-District 8-4A Champions:
Vandebilt- Semi Finalists DII
South Lafourche- Quarterfinalists 4A

9-3A District Champions
Lutcher- State Runner Up 3A

South Terrebonne- Semi Finalists 4A
Assumption- 2nd Rd 4A
Ellender and Morgan City- Lost in opening round of playoffs.

Or until certain public schools grow some balls

In most parishes you can go to any school you want

Also tell me how charter schools are non-select?

6-2A is a mix of new and old IMHO.

Episcopal, Dunham, Northeast, and East Feliciana (Clinton / Jackson merger) have generally been there forever.

Capitol has been there off and on over the years.

Baker and French Settlement are new and this is a major shift in Baker over the years. That used to be a 5A school in my day. I’m fricking old…

I'm assuming that's for football..

Will their other sports play in that district though?

and where does Karr play their home games...?

Districts are generally set for all sports.

There’s separate districts for sports like soccer, wrestling, volleyball, tennis, golf, and cross country

That’s why I used the term “generally,” meaning for the big 3 sports.

Petition hasn't been heard yet. These are the proposed districts. Petitions are due by the end of the week and then are heard by the LHSAA at the end of the month
