I do not think he can own 2 teams. I think it is part of reason Red had to sell also.

Rocket Fans would love Jerry as owner. He would make the place better and more valuable.

I'll take it. Given he's a Houston guy, you know you're getting a guy that wants the team to win.

Ferrita started Landry's right? I want to make sure I am thinking of same guy.

I just think it wont be a single owner but a group with a majority owner.

My team has sucked bro but when we played well our fans showed up. Chris Paul and company are to thank for that.

Pathetic attempt from you as usual.

I think he bought the name a long time ago, but yea, he owns the Landry's franchise, half of Galveston, and alot of the Golden Nugget.

Are you 12?

The Pelicans had to meet attendance benchmarks and give away tickets for free during their best-ever season in 2007-08.

Pels were 26th in attendance in 07-08 aka the last time they won a playoff series

Not to rain on your parade, but didn't a natural disaster strongly effect that season?

No that was 2 years before. The "Rebuild" was well under way. That Natural Disaster saved the Saints from moving to San Antonio though.

Why not? Doesn't that Kroenke dude own the Nuggets, Rams, and Avalanche...along with about 3 or 4 other pro teams?

yal are overlooking something. LeBron is about to become the first player-owner in the 21st century.

He's annoyed with cleveland. Half the banana boat can join next year, half can be there this year. He has a ton of endorsement $, some reported his forever-nike deal can be worth 1billion. That also doesn't include all of his endorsement deals outside of that and the 200mil he made in the NBA already.

Dude is about to become a controlling share owner.

Stan Kroenke owns the LLC or corporation that owns those teams..

It is a technicality. Kroenke and Associates own the Nuggets I thought.
