*and by better I mean he makes them suck more

Historically, good to great players (even in their primes) have their worst seasons playing with LeBron

Wade
Bosh
Irving
Love
Davis

The list goes on

And now, so far, it seems Luka suddenly smokes pole

What give? Is LeBron just a statistical black hole?

Because Luka didn’t drop 30 after being out 60+ days?

I hate Lebron but this thread is retarded

Luka needs to lose 20 lbs.

JJ might need to bring Reaves and Rui off the bench and start DFS and either Vincent or Vando.

You don't want to play with LeBron.

He's not Magic or Larry.

He takes away, it's about him.

You will be a lesser basketball player with LeBron as your teammate. He elevates no one.

And all of those on your list except for Wade would have a combined zero championships without Lebron. I hate Lebron, but this is a dumb take.

Lebron turns alright\average players into above average/great role players.

When paired with elite stars, he has always been better than every other player (all the way until prob ~36-37). So obviously there is only one ball to go around and he gets to touch it more and take more shots bc he's better.

Similar to an all star\olympic game. All the top guys cant score 30 each, no?

And the comment about Luka is pretty dumb. Luka is just coming off an injury , isn't in playing shape, and on a minutes restriction

It's been two freaking games dude He also hasn't played in a while due to injury. I'm no lakers fan at all, but this take is ridiculous.

Quick question! How many championships have those guys won outside of playing with Lebron?

I can give you Bosh and Love, they had to completely adjust their game from their prior years of being the #1 guy.

Wade was as good as he has ever been during their first year together, then he started dealing with the knee injuries.

Kyrie's game was 100% elevated from playing with Lebron. Just look at what Cleveland was doing when he was their #1 option before Lebron returned.

Anthony Davis has been elite his entire time in LA. His game never declined playing with Lebron. His only issue is staying healthy.

Luka is 2 games back after being out for almost 2 months due to injury. It's well known Luka always has to play himself back into shape on the basketball court. Not to mention he's on a completely new team with a completely new system. How about you give it more than 2 games before declaring that he sucks. Because I guarantee you this take will age horribly.

By which metrics? Just points? Yeah usually when you're on a shite team and have to do everything, and then you go to a team with other good players on it, you score less points.

Every player on that list was 'The Guy' either on their previous team or at their next stop after LeBron. Your role changes when a top 2-3 player ever joins your team.

Do you want the ball in Chris Bosh's hands, or Lebrons?

I think Lebron makes players like Haslem and Chalmers better. I think he lessens the workload required on players like Bosh, Love, Davis, Irving, etc.

You mean a player's stats go down when they go from being the #1 on a team to the #2 option? You don't say!?!

Because of two games on a minutes restriction?

How about all the role players who have their best seasons with Lebron?

LeBron's legacy is not going to be what people think it will be.

The average American hates athletes chasing titles inorganic and diminishing his teammates for his lack of understanding the winning game like Magic.

Inauthentic and weak....all about him, his brand, that couldn't stand on its own.

Fans want the Jordan mentality (I'm gonna make really average players better) it uplifts....not the easy trade me to a super team route because you couldn't show up in big moments by yourself and MAKE YOUR TEAMMATES BETTER... .His legacy will be re-examined for what it really was.....Luka better hope LeBron Retires ASAP.

LeBron is fourth since 2000 at increasing his teammate's eFG% when he is on the floor vs. when he is off the floor.

Only Joker (which makes sense as an absolutely elite passing/playmaking center swinging the ball around to shooters), Nash, and Luka are ahead of him.

LeBron requires everyone else to defer unless he wants to defer. He will then throw others under the bus when they don't meet their previous performance without him.

Guy is a real piece of work, but good teammate has never been one of them. He's not as toxic as Kobe, but close. He simply tries to act like he is the good teammate where as Kobe and say a Jimmy Butler don't fake it.

Jordan was an a-hole, but was trying to push his teammates to be better. LeBron doesn't do that. He pushes them to make him look better. Like when he cares about playing defense, versus when he half-asses it.

Maybe its the HGH in his system, but who knows.

This is dumb. I’m neither a fanboy or hater of LeBron but his basketball IQ is insane. Have you watched his career?
