What in the frick are you talking about?

It's an "some white men said racist things therefore all white men must be brought to justice "article. We've heard it 1000 times.

Ok. So you didn’t read the full article. That proves my point.

I’m not saying all whites people are guilty of stuff like this. I may have misinterpreted it, but I felt like Kyle was sharing how he reacted to events like Sefolosha’s arrest differently than his black teammates because he didn’t know what it’s like. That’s not being woke, that’s being reasonable.

I’m a white man and it will never stop being funny and pathetic at the same time watching weak, soy boy, and completely cucked white men prostate themselves on the alter of political correctness and show people how “woke” they are.

One thing that has always confused me is that I (as a vietnamese person) can say I am proud of my culture and being Vietnamese.

A black person can go and say they are proud of their culture and being black.

A hispanic person can go and say they are proud of their culture and being hispanic

All of that is perfectly accepted and applauded

But if a Caucasian person says they're proud of their culture and being white

shite hits the fan fricking fast.

Idk man. Just something I've witnessed and observed.

My god...make it stop. Maybe he should have thought “these racist white people sure do show up and make all my black teammates rich” or “why am I the only white person on either team”...but nope, that’s what he got out of one person acting like an idiot. He needs to make a better argument. If anything Kyle Korver has been one of THE most stereotyped players in the NBA. The obstacles he’s had to overcome because of the color of HIS skin should also be a legit conversation. But nope, that’s what he came up with. I appreciate his concern for his teammates, but the constant “white man do better” lectures are becoming counter productive. Does he know that black men commit the most violent crime by a large percentage? Maybe that’s why the average sentence is longer for black men? The stupidity never ends.

I read the article. Everything I said was contained in the article.

Korver assumes many things.

-Korver analyzes his response to Sefolosha.

-hears from many NBA players saying they heard racist things from crowds

-dont know who except a few instances, but players say they hear stuff all the time

-Korver automatically assumes it must've been white people that said those racist things

-Korver says "I'm white so I'm more like a fan because they're white" (as if all white people are in league together)

-Korver calls himself subconsciously racist (Thabo assumptions)

-Says white people must hold each other accountable

-then tries to cover up his clear condemnation of whites by saying all people should do this

He was outright accusing white people of being racist and then he just tried to bury it in a nice way.

It's not unreasonable to assume an NBA Player visiting clubs and getting arrested was doing something dumb. Especially when he hadn't seen the facts yet. That also shouldn't mean you close the door on the alternative possibility that the police were out of line and Thabo was innocent.

Was he trying to say Thabo wasn't capable of getting arrested?

Most of the time, club odd hours of the night + arrested doesnt mean police brutality.

It wasnt racist for him to assume Thabo was being dumb.

No one’s arguing what the standard should be we’re articulating FACTS. Here’s a “standard” to consider: you’re as likely to die FROM A LIGHTNING STRIKE as you are to die unarmed at the hands of police. Suck on that fact sweetness.

Huh? He wasn't talking about "white privilege", that's just the title of his essay.

He was talking about how a few white people said racist things at NBA games to NBA players and Korver used that to sort of paint all white people as participants in those acts.

Sure he was. You're being defensive and insecure. His essay was not about what you just claimed.

You only got your success, whatever it means in a specific scenario, bc you are white.

It is an insult but people shouldn’t care. Money is green frick black/white.
