FIFY. Don't glorify the "baby daddy" culture.

OP picks and chooses what to copy into the thread for shock value.

Shocking.

What in the frick are you talking about?

It's an "some white men said racist things therefore all white men must be brought to justice "article. We've heard it 1000 times.

I'm going to reject any notion that I'm in league with the few idiots who say dumb things just because I share a similar skin color. It's a dumb premise. Extremely dumb.

Call out exactly who made these comments and leave skin color out.

quote:

I know that, as a white man, I have to hold my fellow white men accountable.
We all have to hold each other accountable.
And we all have to be accountable — period. Not just for our own actions, but also for the ways that our inaction can create a “safe” space for toxic behavior.
And I think the standard that we have to hold ourselves to, in this crucial moment….. it’s higher than it’s ever been. We have to be active. We have to be actively supporting the causes of those who’ve been marginalized — precisely because they’ve been marginalized.

frick you Kyle. How do you know every comment heard was a white man?

How do you know the men weren't Italian,Jewish, middle eastern, or hispanic?

In Utah they're probably mormon, as a non-mormon white man, why dont you call out the mormon community for being pro-white and/or racist?

Oh I know, because that would be too specific. Being vague and making broad generalizations is the easy road when trying to condemn.

Instead of condemning the actual perpetrators, let's just condemn everyone.

frick you Kyle. You dont speak for me and I'm not a part of this dumbass group saying racist shite to NBA players.

LMAO. you just too dumb to digestthe article

He says, "And we all have to be accountable — period. Not just for our own actions, but also for the ways that our inaction can create a “safe” space for toxic behavior."

Which does resonate.

one of the best articles on race I've ever read but you need to possess a certain acumen to understand

Wrong.

He's trying to say the following: We're not responsible for what our forefathers did, we are however responsible for fixing their mistakes and ending the inequality.

The end

You should give up your spot in the nba to a black guy. It’s only fair.

But as disgraceful as it is that we have to deal with racist hecklers in NBA arenas in 2019? The truth is, you could argue that that kind of racism is “easier” to deal with. Because at least in those cases, the racism is loud and clear. There’s no ambiguity — not in the act itself, and thankfully not in the response: we throw the guy out of the building, and then we ban him for life.

But in many ways the more dangerous form of racism isn’t that loud and stupid kind. It isn’t the kind that announces itself when it walks into the arena. It’s the quiet and subtle kind. The kind that almost hides itself in plain view. It’s the person who does and says all the “right” things in public: They’re perfectly friendly when they meet a person of color. They’re very polite. But in private? Well….. they sort of wish that everyone would stop making everything “about race” all the time.

And you're too dumb to understand that I'm not guilty for someone else doing bad things just because I have the same skin color.

I dont need Kyle Korver or any other white person to "hold me accountable" no more than I need someone to make sure I breathe from moment to moment.

Broad generalizations are incredibly stupid and useless for specific actions.

Wow why am I even answering your dumb arse.

Kyle Korver is an idiot for a broad racist generalization. You dont beat racism by calling a huge group of people racists.

And forgive me if I dont feel sorry for Thabo Sefolosha. I'll accept everything that's been thrown his way for his salary. I'd take that in a heartbeat.

No were not. We just fundamentally disagree. I'm not responsible for righting someone else's wrongs that occurred before I was born.

It's also pathetic you and him expect me to sympathize with multi-millionaire world class athletes. I dont even come close to having sympathy.

I'll take life in fricking Sudan if at the end of the day I'm an NBA player.

That's hilarious since we don't even hold individuals accountable for their owns actions yet as a group we should be accountable?

I will not apologize/feel guilty/shamed etc for someone else being an idiot whether we share the same color or genitalia. In all actuality I'd prefer they share their stupidity that way it's easier to know who you're dealing with and therefore easier to dismiss their opinions.

Btw- those are such pretty words you used.
