All progressives are worthless trash.

Now don't you criticize my opinion because you better not dare have a problem with me expressing an opinion you don't like.

I think the issue is that self important athletes feel like their opinions on matters other than their expertise (typically the sport they play) should be taken more seriously than a random person on the street.

I guess I just don’t see that to be the case most of the time. I think that’s people projecting that onto them.

In what ways is the NBA has the NBA been built around black privilege?

It sure seems like black people as a whole have advantages from birth that help them become better basketball players

It seems quite literally the NBA is built on black privilege

Expecting any level of behavior from anyone is racist according to these crazies.

Expect someone to show up dressed well on time, use proper grammar and have good manners? Racist.

Expect someone to be dressed poorly, lie, cheat, and steal? Racist.

Having no expectations at all is the only way to not be racist or sexist or whatever.

No matter what you're going to cross some racial or cultural norm according to these people.

is this where we talk about how the NBA is 75% black while black people only make up like 15% of the total population

Eric Reid’s op ed in NYT was pretty widely derided

I understand that.

Was mainly asking for reasons other than that.

And I don't think that's the same type of privilege that folks on the left are talking about when it comes to white privilege.

do you really though, Kyle? you're 6'7", and have been living the life of a basketball star for like 20 years (if we're going back to college). don't sell your commonalities with your fellow NBAers short.

To be fair, it's probably more a fault of the media than the athletes.

He basically meant I'm white and the people in the stands are white so we're the same.

He and his fellow liberals share that thought process with super racist white people.

Awesome groups of people right there.

You're either trolling with this statement or you are not reading those articles.

90+% of the people who complain about Korver being a cuck will not read this full article and take everything out of context from the OP.

Shocking.

Without a doubt. I actually thought it was a good article, if you are just reading what the OP copied/pasted, you are not getting anything close to the full story

Like that being the most likely thing they can do to get out of their family's endless cycle of poverty, which OF COURSE was not precipitated by institutional racism?

It seems to me that Korver is mansplaining my white privilege and trying to culturally appropriate how I feel as a woman about this tyrannical patriarchal society where we care more about people than animals or the environment. By caring more about ourselves and our neighbors than other people in distant areas of the world we'll never be to understand the true meaning of freedom. I hereby donate 1 cent of my biweekly pay to the democratic national party in an effort to stop the nazi-ism of this never proud nation.
