The more the hours and very seconds pass....the worse this is becoming. The enormity of this tragedy is just starting to set in. I can’t wrap my head around all of this. I’m starting to get into an angry phase that I don’t want go to. Why!! Why!! Why!! Not Kobe Bryant man......

I can't believe they're playing games today.

Would be awful to be a player right now.

I’m seeing different reports of who was or wasn’t on the helicopter. So I don’t have to go back through all the pages, does anyone know for sure the ones who died? This is a sad day. Followed him from the beginning.

I lost a younger brother who was 24 at the time. Is it even comparable? No.

But by no means does it mean people can't feel emotional about seeing an icon they followed (and how heartbreaking this situation is, with a daughter who was also on board) and this circumstance. So frick off with that moral superiority.

They’re not even showing commercials on ESPN2 anymore. That’s how serious this is.

I don’t feel like reading through all 38 pages of this thread but can anybody explain to me why Silver decided not to cancel today’s games?

Do you think Kobe would want them cancelled?

Don't think there's been an official statement from the league. I think the Rockets/Nuggets game was already tipping off when the news was breaking.

Filled with great sadness in our house.

Love for Kobe spanned generations.
