He's on ESPN2 right now talking about it. And is just heartbroken. Lowest I think I've ever seen the guy.

Just lost it when I saw a video of both the Raptors and Spurs dribbling out the 24 seconds on the shot clock of their opening possessions. Standing ovation from the crowd

Stephan A Smith is crushed right now as many others are. All the shows on espn and fox sports will have a very sad tone this week and rightfully so on what a great person Kobe Bryant was. We loss a great one today.

Thanks brother and also you oleyeller. What is the deal with people downvoting? Not only just my post that was a simple question and statement, but also others who have just said something as simple as RIP.
There are some sick people out there and must have a ton of issues. I could care less of being downvoted. It’s just the point of it being a time like this. You really start to see some peoples true colors in these time.
RIP Kobe

ETA and thanks to the others being civil and answering my questions

In terms of sports deaths, this reminds me of the death of Dale Earnhardt or the death of Ayrton Senna. It’s someone who is an absolute legend of their craft, and it’s just so absolutely shocking and seems impossible when they die.

Who is the serial downvoter in this thread? Who downvoted pictures of a man and his daughter who just died in a tragic accident?

Anyone reporting on possible causes of the crash?

Weather conditions? Human error? Mechanical failure?

It'll be weird since most of them will be down in Miami for the SB but I'd imagine most will ignore the SB for a couple days.

Anything you hear will be conjecture at this point. FAA will have to do a full investigation before announcing anything.
