Kliff Kingsbury has been a head coach for 10 years. He has had just 3 winning seasons

Between college and Pro, dude only had 3 winning seasons in 10 years and just one in his last 7 seasons. And he just signed an 5 year extension. How is this dude still employed as a HC?

Would love to see him in Tuscaloosa as OC next season. HC record aside, the man can coach some offense, especially with a roster like 'Bama's.

Spinning a 5-7 final season at Texas Tech directly into an NFL head coaching job without any NFL coaching experience was pretty incredible

Sucks as a head coach but he’s winning at life. He’s 43, has made millions of dollars being a below average coach, dates models, could retire tomorrow & be a TV analyst or consultant. But yeah, he sucks.

What jobs? He failed in his lone HC gig at a program with historically mediocre expectations. A resume of 8, 4, 7, 5, 6, and 5-win seasons is just not worthy of heavy P5 HC consideration.
While his offenses were good to great (Mahomes on Big 12 defenses helps), you can't spend 6 years as HC and not personally warrant heavy blame for consistently terrible defenses. Those were his staffs and his players.
Maybe a P5 or G5 program will give him a shot at HC but it's pretty clear that OC molding a QB is the correct role for him. He thrived at A&M with Manziel and USC had the right idea after Tech fired him, all the way up until the Cardinals said hold my beer

But Mahomes is winning in the NFL under a different HC, and Kliff as an NFL HC isn't winning without him.
