If they had the opinion that FSU wasn't good enough after going undefeated to play for a national championship then why did they not drop them in the polls before their championship conference game?

They didn't have to change it until UGA/Bama game.

They actually moved them UP to 4 after week 12 when they beat Florida. Which is hilarious

Texas wasn’t jumping Florida State if Georgia won. 100% fact

They were trying to avoid controversy and rooting for Louisville to win.

FSU was friendzoned by the committee. FSU was kept around as a backup plan if Bama lost.

Right. They pushed all their chips in on 1 of Georgia or Louisville winning and being able to avoid all these questions. Oops.

I'm getting over the committee's decision in a vacuum, but man, of all the people they could've singled out while trying to explain their garbage decision, why'd they pick on the guy who was lost for the season due to something completely out of his control? Why not use some tact and say something like "We didn't feel like the coaches had adequately prepared FSU for a postseason run in light of these unfortunate circumstances" or some shite like that? Instead the committee chair came out and flat-out blamed Travis for the snub.

They did Travis frickin dirty. So dirty that this 21 year old college kid felt compelled to take to social media and fricking APOLOGIZE for getting his leg broken.

That's fricked up. fricking ghouls, the whole lot of em.

The committee literally dropped them to 5 the ranking after JT broke his leg. UW jumped them

They were moved back up to #4 after rivalry week because OSU lost

The signs of what was to come were there to those who weren’t blind

Seems like FSU got the benefit of the doubt after the UF game, just as Bama did, due to the rivalry aspect. But in the CCG, they sucked, and go pushed down one whole spot, as a result.

Should the country put the flags at half mast for FSU? How long will the crying and mourning continue?

Because like all of us, the Committee thought everything would shake out a certain way until it didn't. This season's Committee was absolute dog shite. Both Alabama and Texas should have been ranked higher than Oregon for much of the season based on résumé alone. However, I feel as if the Committee were already assuming that Oregon was going to defeat an undefeated Washington in the rematch and that Georgia would defeat Alabama in the SEC Championship Game.

Who are you? Aristotle? This isn’t metaphysics. All of the criteria the Committee uses to rank teams is located on their website. One of those is strength of schedule.

Horsehit. Based on their year end logic, OSU is the superior team, so falling behind FSU after losing at Michigan is asinine.

That eliminated OSU from conference championship contention, which is plain as day a criteria that they use in their ranking protocol
