Can say Lebron is better than all those guys but put all of them in today’s era and they’d be bigger and more athletic too. Put lebron in their era and they’d have broken his bitch arse in half

Loved Wilt but Hakeem was ridiculously athletic for a man his size.

Wilt Chamberlain would dominate any era, IMO.

This always sounds good... but it’s false... hell Dr. J himself would be average now... Wilt a great for his time.., game played on too many different levels

Don’t you think if they played now their game would adapt? They were awesome players then and would be awesome players today.

Lebron should be suspended for the season after that tweet

No he wasnt. Shaq and Hakeem would dominate easily

All Wilt was, was a stats hog. He was benched during the NBA Finals, yes the finals. Team was down by 13, and when he went to the bench they closed the gap. Only to lose on a miracle shot

Two separate times Wilt told the coach he was ready to go back in. Finally his coach told him, "we are doing better without you."

Hard to argue with his stance on Lebron. The NBA was at its best when the best players wanted to compete against each other, not join the same team like bitches.

This must have been before MJ made a plea and request for Dennis Rodman to join the Bulls who were already loaded with Pippen, etc.

Guys he grew up watching as a teenager, no surprise there.

Having Karl Malone ranked above Lebron James is legitimately one of the dumbest things I’ve seen an athlete say

When making all-time teams, instead of having 1st and 2nd teams, it would be better to break it down by era: 1950-1980, 1980-2000, 2000-present.
The eras are vastly different in style of play and it’s really apples and oranges.

On its face, I don't understand this, maybe Doc gravitates to those who set the standard for the league and sport more than those who took the sport to a higher and world-changing level

Miami was no superteam. The Warriors were, but only when Durant left his post in OKC. The Nets would qualify and then some.

Dr. J played on some crazy talented teams himself. But he's not wrong about a lot of guys that belong in the best of the best. Chamberlain's feats were off the chart nuts. He belongs up there along with Kareem as number 1 all-time. No one will ever peg it to start with, but giving personal opinions about the best of the best seems to entertain the masses.

When ya got 3 all stars - all nba level players who come together to from a team it is a super team.

Lebron in Miami - super team
Lebron when he went to CLE - super team
Nets - super team
GSW pre KD - no super team
GSW with KD - super team.

Why do NBA fans do this by bringing up talent? Why is that part of the debate? It's who had the best career or legacy, who was the best player.. not who was the most talented..

The definition of super team doesn’t change based on who is involved.. It is really pretty straight forward. It has always been used as more of a reference to how a team was formed moreso than the talent level.
