We don’t agree on much but only LSU fans are delusional enough to believe last years offense was ensmingers doing and not Brady.

I agree with you here, but would you also agree that O changed his philosophy as well? He allowed E, Brady etc to be more aggressive. He admitted he thought about shutting it down on the last drive against Texas and E talked him out of it.

Our aggressiveness, especially at the end of the first halves of Texas, Bama and Clemson was huge in those wins. Contrast that with games like 2018 A&M, where the lack of aggression killed us. Run the HB pass to win not tie!!

I think that is the big question going into this year. Will O continue this track without Burrow and Brady? I personally think we have to as good as college offenses are now.

And I’m saying that while acknowledging there’s an overwhelming chance it won’t be as successful. But I’d still rather lose throwing everything we have at it, than playing not to lose.

I've always believed this.

Why I soured on Miles in 2005.

We have to wait and see how I responds to issues, particularly without Burrow.

No question about it O did what was necessary and I think something people might overlook about the setup was that he had Ensminger there to be the buffer/translator/insurance in case there was something about Brady O had to address. I think having Ensminger gave O more confidence in Brady because he trusts Ensminger so much.

Yep. And I believe that’s what most fans were pissed off about on 1/9/12. Not that we lost and not that we even got dominated. It was clear Miles was hoping for a turnover or ST play. When that didn’t happen, he gave up.

Can’t get away with that against equal or stronger teams.

I think O was clearly playing not to lose against Bama in 16 and 18. He was able to hide behind it a bit in 16, but in 18, Bama came in with an offensive machine and the jig was up by halftime.

We gotta see Brennon do something. Not saying he's bad could be really good but we dont know

Imo all those guys to the draft. Then Chase and Shelvin too. That's a lot of talent that won that title gone

U have to admit. He dont have anywhere near the talent Joe had

Developed talent that is

People still think Ensminger can actually run a offense?

So basically Brady stole the Saint's playbook for O.

He did a very good job adapting it for the NFL but it wasn’t just the saints offense

LSU ran almost everything out of shotgun with the same 11 personnel grouping almost 100% of the time.

The saints will do shotgun and run a lot of different personnel groups. As many as anyone in the NFL.

You are insufferable. Why are you so invested in this shite?

I sincerely hope the Coach E / Linehan pairing has as much success as the Coach E / Brady pairing had.

I'm sure you do too, but your posts paint a different picture.

O and E brought in someone to chart Joe Burrow's offense into an extensive playbook that would be used by every position - and for every play.

It is the offense that Burrow ran since elementary school.

If the Bengals wise up, they'll do the same thing O did - hire a guy to chart it and install it. So far the Bengals are half-stepping it.

Everyone knows Joe Brady was the reason for LSU’s success. Yes, LSU had talented players, but Brady put it all into motion.

It’s not a big deal, give credit where it’s due.

Have you spoken to everyone?

Burrow was running that offense as a 12 year old. O made the smart decision to adapt the offense to Burrow's skill set. Brady was brought in to chart it.

It’s a fact that Brady called a third of the plays in fact he called a lot of third down situational plays especially in long yard situations.

I thought they actually came out and said that E called they plays bryan the 20's and Brady called they plays on the red zone. Or the other way around, but I thought that was common knowledge.
