Had that one bad throw but you can make an argument he looked the best amongst the rookies this weekend.
Bummer we won’t see him any time soon.

Unfortunate news getting hurt already

Brutal sport. Hate it for guys like him and the Longhorn RB.

Sam Darnold was commandeering this ship to the Super Bowl this season anyway.

Is he going to have a Super Bowl watch party on a ship or something?
That would make more sense than Minnesota playing in the SB.

its crazy that with all of the rules and protection QBs get, they still get hurt.
QBs need to take a page from Brady and learn how to fall and go down quickly. man played for 20 years by using his brain and being cautionary.

How long does a meniscus operation sideline a football player these days?

The tennis guys (Taylor Fritz and Djokovic) have been able to get back in three weeks, but I'm guessing that is pushing it.

Wasn’t he playing against back ups and their back ups?

I'd like to see them play the Bills in the Super Bowl
And lose.

And?
He look extremely sharp doing it. He wasn’t the only rookie QB facing backups and I don’t think anyone expected him to be the starter. Outside of Williams, the other rookie QBs will all turn 24 this year, McCarthy will still be 21.
So yes it was against backups, but the pocket presence, arm strength and accuracy were impressive
ETA: forgot about Drake Maye who turns 22 this month, but also looked like crap

4-6 weeks I think

At his age, he’ll probably have a repair which is at least 4-6 weeks non weight bearing. So probably close to 3 months.
