And Michigan was 46-42 under the 2 previous coaches there.

Michigan is an improved program. They're good, just not elite. UM fans, and the media, need to accept that.

And 0-5 vs teams named Ohio State.

That's all that matters to Michigan.

Michigan shouldn't pull the plug because honestly from 2008-2015 they were walking in the desert besides 2011.

Michigan isn't a blueblood program anymore. They rely on Ohio, PA, and the south for talent. Might pull 1-2 5 star recruits a year. They're a solid tier 2 program. 1 title since 1948 and that one should be considered a split with Nebraska. Ohio State is in a different league than them.

How about against teams ranked in the top 25 (at the end of the season? Top 10?

I think he's 2-12 vs top 10 teams. One of those wins was this year vs Notre Dame and I'm not sure if they'll finish in the top 10.

And Cholly Mac was the winningest coach in LSU history but couldn’t beat Bama.

And it got him his bags packed.

So surely California, Texas, and Florida schools are winning titles every year, right? No chance a team in lowly South Carolina with their 57 NFL players (only 8 more than Michigan) can win a title.

Les Miles was good against non-Alabama teams too

Michigan isn’t limited to recruiting from only Michigan.

Lots of talent available in Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, etc, which is still within their reach.

I think you're confusing Michigan with Tennessee.

Michigan almost always has highly rated recruiting classes. They used to be among the top programs in terms of putting players in the NFL

The football climate has changed. A handful of "used to be's" need to accept it.

This goes beyond Harbaugh.

Carr part 2, Rich Rod, Hoke all couldn't win it.
