Let me get this straight: Jessica Mendoza is "sad" for baseball that ... a player spoke to reporters about a really big problem within the sport, which was greatly shifting the playing field and damaging careers? That's what she is "sad" about?

I love the Mets and selfishly hope Carlos Beltran isn’t fired… but blaming the whistleblower for uncovering a horrifying and widespread cheating scandal is CRAZY. Just completely appalling.

Yeah I heard that on Golic and Wingo...the other athletes in the room all took her side, Wingo took the other side. I'd imagine most athletes would take her side

I love the sounds of a baseball game. Her voice throws the whole thing off on SNB. It’s just audibly dissonant to me.

There is only so much they could do. And this had been brought to the attention of MLB behind the scenes several times to no avail. It took Fiers going public for anything to happen.

So is defending a guy that sat back and got a ring while the cheating was going on, then let his new teams know about it to their benefit, THEN finally, 2 years later, opened his mouth.
Chickenshit if you ask me. I'm assuming his ring sits in a box in the attic if he's so sickened by what happened in 2017.
