Isn’t this also an ‘exhibition’ and not a real fight?

Why do people insist on coming on TD and acting like they know what they’re talking about, when they have no clue?? It’s really baffling to me

Exhibition Matches and Professional Records

Exhibition matches do not count toward a professional boxer's record. These bouts are primarily for demonstration and entertainment purposes rather than competition.

Key Characteristics of Exhibition Matches:

No Official Winner: Typically, there is no declared winner in an exhibition fight.

Record Impact: Results from exhibition matches are not recorded in a boxer's professional career statistics.

Flexibility in Rules: The rules for exhibition fights can be adjusted, including the number of rounds and glove sizes.

Gervonta Davis record as a pro is 30-0-1 with 28 knockouts.

If he doesn’t knockout Jake Paul, yes it’s rigged.

I don’t know. He’s a great legitimate fighter. Not sure if he will take a dive just to get a payday.

But then again, he’s said he’s fed up with the sport and may retire at the end of the year so this could be it for him.

It's the same damn thing every time Jake fights. People are saying how he's gonna get knocked out, he doesn't, and then the cycle continues. I guaran-damn-tee he's not gonna get knocked out by Tank.

Somehow? He’s super rich and famous. Story as old as time.

So, who's his next "Opponent"? Maybe Ronda Rousey, long retired Christy Martin or Leila Ali.

This clown continues to show his true colors---------------------YELLOW-------by picking opponents that are either washed up former MMA fighters, old and way out of shape former boxers and now midgets who he towers over and outweighs by 60+ lbs.

Boxing is the new WWE. Kind of cool since boxing was a dying sport.

Yes, he’s 1 of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my odds.

No shite? Paul likes his odds?

Paul is 6'1, has a 76" reach, and has fought at anywhere from 186 to 227 lbs.

Davis is 5'5, has a 67" reach, and supposedly the heaviest he's ever been is around 150.

Then why won't he fight an actual boxer in the same weight class that isn't old and washed up? Dude is somehow ranked by WBA from beating a bunch of retired boxers, retired NFL / NBA players, MMA guys, or boxers that normally fight 5-7 weight classes lower.

$$$
Dude is such a fricking fraud.

Because the undercard will have some great fights on it. You guys aren't giving Jake enough credit. Dude is a promoter at heart, and he's damn good at it. Take him for what he is, he's an entertainer and his events are entertaining.

Is he a legitimate title contender yet? Of course not, but along the journey to getting there he's made a gazillion dollars and made himself into a household name.

As a huge boxing fan, I respect that Jake has worked his arse off and has actually gotten better. People forget he's only had 13 fights. How good was any fighter with no amateur career in thei r13th fight? And they damn sure weren't snagging 8 figure paydays while doing it. And he's' brought a shite ton of new eyes to the sport.

As far as Davis, as much as I hate to see it this is his swan song. This is his cash out fight. He'll get his bag and retire; which is a shame because boxing deserves the Roach rematch.

As far as the outcome, Jake should jab him to death. He has a decent jab. The wild card is Tank is fearless and packs a hell of a punch for a small guy.

Paul is 6 inches taller than him and at fight time could be 70-80lbs heavier dude.

Anyone saying this doesn’t understand why there are weight classes.

Paul is a competent boxer. Davis is a world class one. But we are talking like a 4 weight class difference here.

I just dont see Davis "throwing" away his unbeaten record. To that end, I'll dont care about the size, if Paul beats Davis and it looks on the up and up, not like Tyson, then I'll be a believer. Davis is gonna punish him with those quick hands.

Especially when they're on their way out.

Anyone that's followed Tank's career knows he's said all along that he wasn't going to fight until he was 40. He's invested well and is set financially. He's even said multiple times over the years that he was going to fight Jake at some point so it's not like this event is a surprise.

Will that pussy ever fight a real boxer that is t over the hill and is legitimately in his weight class?

The answer is no because this STD crack head looking frick can make millions off retarded kids and people who hate him.

Wild. But respect the hustle. He doesn’t respect boxing. But he does worship the almighty dollar.
