It's time.... Ripping the band-aid off and realizing that my favorite baseball team sucks

I made a Braves were overrated thread or post like 2 years ago while they had the best record in the league and I got downvoted to death. They got beat again in the playoffs and have been arse ever since.
The reason why I was onto them was watching them blow some games I had bet on. They were like 0-5 that year in games I bet them in and their bullpen was trash and their lineup was too over-reliant on homers.

At least your team doesn't play in the same division as the Dodgers. As a Giants fan I feel I may never see another division title until...well who knows

You guys are hilarious. Not even a week in. This is a marathon. The playoffs will be the Dodgers, Padres, Mets, Phillies, Braves, and Reds. Then it’s a crapshoot like every year.

You're right of course, at least about the prematurity, not necessarily that the Braves will be in the mix IMO (but we could be)
I thought thinks looked really really thin on paper before the season and things are getting worse, but that's not to say we won't manage to be competitive or that 0-5 is really much of an indicator.

It hasn’t been particularly good to be a Pirates fan since about 1993.
I was one during the Bonds and Bonilla era but they kept running into teams like Cincinnati and Atlanta in the NLCS.

Yea, the Braves have looked putrid. And Profar just makes you shake your head. But, other teams will have issues come up as well. Now, if we lose another pitcher or have Ozzie slide head first and jam his wrist or Riley gets plunked in the elbow then things could get ugly. But right now, we just play it out and the law of averages always wins.

Dude, take it easy. Way too early for this. Look how the Mets started last year and we ended up smoking all your asses and did better against the Dodgers than the Yankees.
