I played in an Over 30 league a few years back that had a team with a former D-1 female payer. She averaged a few buckets a game, but just about all of them came after the first quarter of play when all the fat, out of shape guys were no longer crossing half court. I also don't recall her doing hardly any of her scoring in the paint. Was all outside shots in which she was already established and set-up. She did play solid defense though.

I was with you until golf. There are female golfers who get D1 scholarships who couldn't break 80 from the mens tees. There are A LOT of D1 golf teams (nearly 300 and almost 1000 NCAA teams including all divisions), and the pool of players is not big. Was talking to the club pro at a local country club about a girl who was always out on the course. He was telling me how she was a D1 golfer at some random college. I'd seen her play and was amazed that someone of her skill level was actually a scholarship athlete. For a girl, sure she was great, but most of the men who played regularly at the club would beat her. It was that day I decided my daughter would be learning how to play golf

Hell, the tour average for driving distance on the LPGA Tour is just a hair over 250, which is about average for a mid-handicap adult male. Not saying your mid-handicap male golfer could beat an LPGA tour pro, but I'm just trying to provide some perspective on how vast the difference is

I’m talking about big 10 and sec schools. Full ride scholarships just unused

You can’t find a pick up game at the Y where I live that’s worse than this lol

Used to play against some of the girls D-II level starters in college in pickup games.

I sucked, but the other guys were decent high school players, but nowhere near college level, even low college D2. One guy didn't even play in high school, but rww a good football player.

A couple of the girls could shoot the lights out when unguarded, but they couldn't do anything against in-shape regular dudes playing good defense against them.

A halfway decent boys HS team would have beat them by 50 pts., but against out of shape, old, shitty men's pickup players, most any high level college girls player would destroy them. It's apples to oranges.
