The stadium at Quad Cities is incredible. The location right on the river, and all the quirks and character it has makes it one of the best stadiums I have ever went to. I loved sitting behind home plate seeing the bridge in the background. And there's a cornfield down the LF line. I never got on the ferris wheel, but it was tempting. I even had a nice chat sitting next to a family of a Cubs and Brewers fan before the game. I was just thinking last night one of the few things I miss about living in IA is going to Quad Cities games.

Agree my friend. We also sat behind home plate, with the beautiful view of bridge and river and fan interaction was great as you say. We will visit again someday.

I love it. I also loved the suicide squeezes back in the day but now with pitchers no longer hitting, we just don't see those as much as we used to.

I don't remember how much parking was, but it wasn't much. If anything. I got there early. And took a walk around the whole place. I also like that there was an enclosed bar if you wanted to beat the heat. And it had the biggest bobblehead collection I have ever seen. I think there were fireworks after the game too. I really want to go back someday.

I also liked that the owner of Quad Cities was at the very top step, gretting fans as they entered and at the end of the game, thanking fans for coming by.

I personally enjoy baseball games very much. Much more intimate fan experience than football IMO. To each his own though I guess. Went to Fenway for first time and had a blast.

MiLB is some of the best bang for your buck entertainment you can find in sports. Get a ticket for $10 in most places, give or take. Unless ushers are a complete dick, you can move about the park. You’ll typically have space to kick back if you want it. Plenty of other good views when you walk around. There’s always promos for various things it seems. If concessions cost an arm and a leg, eat before the game?

Never understood it, at all. Sure, there are some exciting times, like playoffs. But I simply cannot absorb the mental framework of someone who can sit and watch 9 innings of Toronto vs KC (or some equivalent of nobodys)
