It's funny watching WNBA commit suicide this week.

Can't get the schedule for the finals straight even though they had months of notice.
Finals are played today at 12:30 PM. Yup. Great for the Golden State fans who are three hours behind. At least they can get breakfast first.
Can't simulcast the game on CNBC as they planned because of the time so it will stream on......E! and Scy-Fi channels. You can't make this up.
Even the New York Times is slamming them. What idiots. This is downright funny.

I read that the Hawks actually tried to make it work for them and even struck a deal with the wrestling production to make it work and the WNBA commissioner turned it down because it meant they would possibly play on election day or some dumb shite.

They should have played it in the smaller arena at night. What they would lose in ticket money they would gain in exposure.
But that must be higher level thinking of which the WNBA brain trust isn’t capable of.
I read somewhere they could have moved the WNBA game to Friday but that would push a “possible” game 7 to Tuesday which is Election Day. The league doesn’t want to interfere with that. Proving that they are not a real sports league. They are a Social Justice Political Organization.
But that must be higher level thinking of which the WNBA brain trust isn’t capable of.

Worried about election day, but they were also having their finals the same week as the world series?
Said it another thread, they probably wanted the midday tipoff so they can use that as a built-in excuse for the declining viewership.

Can’t kill what’s already dead. The reason they do the things they do is because there’s no fear of lost revenue or viewership. They don’t make any money anyway, they’re a welfare league.
