Is there another period during the year that is worst than this current stretch?

After these finals, yes it is. I might watch some CFL in the summer if it's on but that's about it.

Usually it would be, after the Stanley Cup, and NBA finals ended. It somewhat falls into that dead period where nothing is really going on except for the MLB, and they are in the middle of a 162 game season.

We still have the Stanley Cup, and the NBA finals. There are still 2 Golf majors on the year. French Open is going on right now. Wimbledon happens at the end of the month. Super Regionals, and the CWS is still happening. This MLB season has been pretty great so far. White House UFC card in a couple of weeks as well.

Biggest thing is, it’s a World Cup year as well, where the US is hosting, and we actually have a pretty solid team going into it.

By the time this all ends, Football season will be here. So I’d say it’s setting up for a pretty perfect sports year, and my answer to your question would be, no.

Finals, World Cup, and Wimbledon will hold me down for the next few weeks.

You have the UFC White House card too pretty soon.

Monaco GP on Sunday.

Sucks to like only one or two sports I guess.

June 19th will have the USA in a World Cup game and the US Open at Shinnecock Hills. This may be the most excited I get for a day of sports for the entire year.

Yes, we pretty much dominated Senegal the other day, who is by far the best team in Africa and a borderline top 10 team in the world. Score was 3-2, but we left a few goals on the table. If the defense can hold up for the World Cup, we will be able to make some noise.

Feb thru the end of March is the only bad sports period for me.

Yes. When college baseball gets prominent coverage, you know it is a bad time on the sporting calendar.

Watch more sports.

Two of the big four sports have finals about to start. The biggest sporting event in the world starts this month. US Open golf. French open and Wimbledon. UFC 250. F1. Baseball.

This period the next few weeks during a World Cup year is one of the absolute best

NBA Finals
Stanley Cup Finals
World Cup
US Open
Super Regionals/CWS
With MLB regular season going in the background

The worst period on the sports calendar to me is February after the Super Bowl. But I also like baseball and golf a lot, if you don’t then I imagine July-August is pretty rough

I know for many people, it is exciting, but the NBA Finals is really all I care about for the next few months.

I will tune in to the US World Cup matches but I really don't care how other countries do...at least we won't have vuvuzelas in the crowd at games this year
