To be legendary you have to make legendary plays and moments.
He has, even though this is a silly framing. All you're doing is permitting yourself to pick the moments you want to further your argument.
There is no overall/objective basis or value in framing the discussion this way.
It shows how weak your argument is, if you have to sink to this level of rhetoric.

I mean not really. We are distinguishing between two things here. Since you post with me a lot on the poli board you might know I’m a linguist so words and their meanings are important to me. And just before I start my first post said he IS a legend imo.
But being a legendary player and being a hall of fame player or maybe someone who’s really good for a long career with minimal big winning are different things.
Allow me to put my position to you like this. Someone can be a legendary player and the rest or most of the rest of their career been an average Andy. Simply because they might have done a few legendary things at certain moments when the lights are the brightest.
Again; I am not disagreeing he’s a legend although I do think he is a suspect one. I was merely saying to actually BE a legend you have to make those legendary moments. Which LeBron has; one of which I immediately detailed in that post
So idk why you and the bama fan started having your periods

No. 4 rings as a starter, top 20 player all time. 21 All NBA selections. Legend?, I mean is he even a good player …

This post is so asinine and idiotic, it doesn't even deserve an actual intelligent response.

Why don’t you show the chase down block that happened right before Kyries three which is one of the top plays in NBA Finals history. You are a clown.

Kyrie hit that shot and was great overall, but LeBron was the best player in that series by a mile.
There are some astonishingly retarded takes in this thread. People on this board hate LeBron off the court so much (and I get it, he is politically retarded and tries to pretend he is some kind of scholar) that it clouds their judgement of him as a player. I don't think that happens to any other athlete on this website.

i dont consider him in the “Legend” status of that of Kobe, Jordan, Steph, and Bird. What say you?
Does "Legend status" ignore on-court production?
Because Lebron was clearly better than Kobe, Steph, and Bird on the court.
Statistically, if you look at the three stats usually looked at (points, rebounds, and assists), Bird is the only one who leads LeBron in any of those, and that is rebounds.
I don't particularly like LeBron, but I can set that aside and acknowledge how good he is at the game he plays.

Lebron hasn’t had an average season in his entire career. Winning big minimally? When you mention 4 rings, you leave out…what was it…8 consecutive times in the Finals? And 10 times total?

Lebron is legendary for many reasons other than your cherry-picked "moments"
However, he does have those moments. You're just choosing not to use them b/c it wouldn't fit your argument.

Alright brother. Explain why. Game 7 of NBA Finals, tie game, going against team with best record in NBA history on their home floor coming back from 3-1. Why don’t you explain to me why it wasn’t one of the greater moments? Outside of just not liking the guy.

You said it was one of the “greatest” in NBA finals history. it was a big moment of that game, the shot was the signature moment of the game.
