It will be interesting to see what they do after building through the portal 2 years in a row. The real elite programs still build through the prep ranks and supplement via the portal.
Built he’s only in year 2 so maybe he’s building that war chest of young players over time. Another interesting thing I read this week is Cig seems to be better than everyone else on finding talent in the portal that other coaches aren’t as high on. After how many years does it turn into “Indiana and Cig are on him, he must be good” and that advantage gets eaten up.
