but Khris Davis hitting exactly .247 four years in a row is certainly weird
With 500+ at bats in 3 of the seasons and 300+ in the other. Unreal stat

Probably because a kid from his alma mater also made us look stupid that year.

Joe Thomas - 10,363 Consecutive Snaps in the NFL.
In today's day and age...this record will last all of our lifetimes. A truly remarkable accomplishment and one that occurred during a BAAAAAAAAD era of Cleveland Browns football. It would be one thing if he was playing through injuries for AFC North Division Titles or AFC Championships or even Super Bowls...but playing through all of it for the Browns???? Remarkable!! His HoF induction this week will be incredible!!

1995 Nebraska beat 4 top 10 teams with an average margin of 31 pts.
And all four opponents produced a combined one first round draft pick the following spring, and he was a bust. Florida had nothing better than a third rounder. Good luck winning the SEC today with that.
Can you imagine teams like 2019 LSU playing a season and not seeing but one first rounder the whole year?
1995 Nebraska’s dominance over Top 10 opponents is not underrated. It’s overrated.

Don Bradman fits this topic since cricket is, at best, a niche sport in the US and does not get any due.
Bradman's all-time Test batting average of 99.9 is one of the most absurd stats in all sports. To put it in some perspective, the next highest average all-time is 62.

Has this been repeated since?
Oct. 2000: Oklahoma became the first team in college football history to beat the No. 1 and No. 2-ranked teams in consecutive games.
