If you were a 5-star recruit, what would be your #1 priority?

Just curious what the MSB baws would prioritize when looking to sign.

Best NIL deal?
Favorite team growing up?
Coaching staff/scheme?
Recent success?
NFL pipeline?
Playing time?
Number of OT 10s on campus?

Lot of things to consider. What’s your #1?

Ah...those days are LONG gone...

People wanna play, get paid and get to the NFL... and you better get paid because most aren't making the NFL.

If you’re a 5 star you can play in any scheme

Playing time?

Likewise if you’re a 5 star you’re trying to start day 1 regardless of who’s there

You’d hope a guy’s favorite team is the one giving him NIL to play lol

It’s all about the recent success and the NFL pipeline. 5 stars will get good NIL and OT11s wherever they go

NIL. Even just a few hundred thousand is a big arse head start in life.

I have one as a client (SEC) and a few more we are working (SEC/ACC). I’ve listed our general conversations rankings. What you’re not aware of is the family pushing the NIL/$ now “in the event it NFL doesn’t happen”.

1. Coaching/NFL Pipeline
2. NIL/$
3. Recency bias
4. Playing time
5. Campus vibes

If I think college ball is where I’ll top out - NIL deal + academic value.

If I think I have a decent shot of going pro - whoever has the best track record of getting guys well prepared to play in the NFL + visibility to pro scouts. Bama QBs are the exact opposite of what I’m talking about here.

Excluding the weirdo humanities kids and their horrific decision-making, isn’t the main reason to go to college to set yourself up for future success?

It’s development (good film) and NFL pipeline (a lot of people watching said film) only

you're probably not a five star football recruit if you don't think you're going to the league TBF
