You can pick asn ll time and current rotation to make 2 lists

I think id take
Koufax
Clemens
R Johnson
B Wagner
M Rivera

It kills me to leave Pedro and Maddux off this team as they absolutely are in top 1% of starters all time

As for current I am not really sure at this time.

People always try questions like these, but always leave out the variable of who would those pitchers be trying to get out?

You're selecting the best pitchers of all-time, but are they playing against the best hitters of all-time...or the 2024 playoffs Astros?

I want guys with a proven track record of being playoff aces as my starters, and I want dominant relievers who miss bats.

Curt Schilling
Madison Bumgarner
Mickey Lolich (I can tell people don't know anything about Lolich based on the comments about Bob Gibson being unbeatable in a winner take all game)

John Smoltz
Mariano Rivera

I’d have to take Schilling as well. He was 11-2 in the postseason with 2.23 ERA in 19 starts. Take out the disastrous start against the Yankees, his ERA is 1.80 in the other 18.

Bob Gibson wins game 3 against anyone. I just need 1 of 2 from Maddox and Clemons.

Pedro
Unit
Maddux

In that order

Gimme Eck & Rivera to end it

Christy Mathewson
I know it's a different era but his WS stat line is sick
5w 5 L in 11 starts 10 complete games
102 innings pitched and an ERA of . 097

Hog, I contemplated that as well.
That dude was an assassin, the pitching equivalent of MJ.
