Tulane will never get an invite. Their stadium is just way too small. They don't have the facilities to warrant such an invite.

There’s no way you could convince the Big12 or anyone else who knows better to take them...I wish we had listened.

Missouri doesn't belong in the SEC geographically

How so?

Missouri's history fits the south. The state of Missouri boarders 3 states in the SEC, and just 70 miles away from Mississippi.

Im not saying Missouri screams the south, but when it comes down to it, its not as far off as you think.

It amazes me that Missouri state has zero interest in expanding their athletics

was surprised to see that Cincy's stadium isn't big either. Memphis and Temple do have larger stadiums.
supposedly, Tulane's stadium can be expanded. In any event, not sure how much stadium size is going to matter as crowds continue to decline at all but the really top of the line programs.

Big 12 should add Army and BYU this season as a 1 time thing.

You want West Virginia to send Women's Basketball to Arizona multiple times on random Tuesdays? Yeah that makes total financial sense...

Louisiana Tech (much smaller budget than West Virginia) was sending Women's basketball to Idaho and San Jose State for quite some time.

UT, TCU and Texas Tech would kick and scream to keep UofH, and possibly SMU, out of the Big 12.

One issue with BYU is always going to be their whole not playing on Sunday thing. Sure it doesn't really matter for football, but is a P5 conference really going to let a team refuse to play on Sunday in women's basketball, baseball, softball, etc. when every other team does?

I'm going to slightly modify my previous answer. Their expansion candidates should by Colorado State, Memphis, Cincinnati, and UCF. Either pick 2 or go ahead and add all 4 to go to 14.

Waco wackos would veto BYU for religious reasons.

I could have sworn the PAC 12 gauged Gonzaga and St. Marys interest last year about joining the PAC 12 in Basketball only. I could see taking place again this year given how much money Gonzaga brings to the table in basketball.

Why would they leave the pac12 for the big12? Makes no damn sense. The only answer here is go for BYU & Boise or go East for UCF & Cincinnati or Memphis. This ain’t some fantasy league. It’s about money and TV markets.

Can play Texas and Oklahoma in Superdome. FWIW Oklahoma is coming to Yulman in the next few years, we will see if that actually goes through. In game attendance is down almost everywhere and I don't see how that trend reverses. The size of your stadium isn't going to be quite as important as it used to be. If an invite was ever pending, something would be worked out with the Superdome to make it happen for bigger games.

Not sure which two I’d pick. None of them “wow” me

you saw exactly what you needed to see then. They didn’t pick any for a reason

Don't be surprised if FSU, Clemson, Nebraska, CSU and the AZ schools join the Big 12 in the next realignment.
