What about Cincinnati in 2021? Their defense led by Sauce was legit and they had a few NFL guys on offense

This is so disrespectful to 2021 Cincinnati

They were a legitimately good team with like 10+ NFL draftees, probably even a 9-10 win team in the SEC. They had road wins against a ND team that finished 5 or 6 and an Indians team that I think was ranked?

Give them the best QB on the planet and they would for sure win the title.

So think about this

2019 OU made the playoffs. You could give that team Mahomes and they still wouldn’t have won that game

I'm not sure how much the ability to hit pin point medium and deep passes helps you in a lot of basic, lack of talent offenses.

I just don’t think there is defense a college coordinator can throw at a vet NFL QB that won’t be sniffed out right away. Especially with the Wider hash marks. That’s going to negate a ton of talent differences between his shite team and UGA/bama

He is going to get every read right and can make every throw, especially deep.

App might be too low but it’s certainly a g-5 school.

Mahomes wouldn’t win anything unless Andy Reid came with him to hold his hand.

I think he would make any average P5 team a playoff contender. Not sure he would be able to elevate a G5 team or bad P5 team. His team would still need to get stops, would still have to get open, would still need to convert 3rd and short. A lot of things like that where an overwhelming amount of talent usually wins out.

Trust me... it was torture having lived through it and watching it.

I think Iowa would have stayed close last year @ OSU because our defense played outstanding for the first 28 minutes, our d ran out of gas and was just gutted against a high profile offense like the buckeyes. A couple of offensive scores would have changed the complexion of the game. We would have still lost but not nearly by as much as we did... and the score was still a little bit deceiving if you watched the game.

We made some key changes especially at the QB spot so hopefully things go better... I mean they couldn't get worse after last season. It was downright horrible and if we weren't so f'in loyal both Ferentz would be unemployed.

Reggie ball, easily.

Look at the goober that just won b2b national titles

after everything that has happened and everything stetson has done, this is still yalls takeaway?

so, then quarterback is not an issue for georgia this year and we will definitely win again, right?

which is it? can't be both.

the worst program patrick mahomes could win a title with is a program that made the playoff without him

legitimately one of the worst answers to a hypothetical ever.

They were down 49-14 at halftime. LSU could have scored 100 that day.

Football is way too dependent on other factors

It would still have to be a really good program

Probably but if his shitty WRs can't get open and his shitty Oline can't hold up it won't matter.

Mahomes would be completely unstoppable with that OU offense.

It would at least be a last team with the ball type of game.

Hurts is a lot better now than he was the and he was great at OU, which only speaks to my point

Iowa was a literal yard away from a Playoff birth in 2015

Doesn’t mean much if they are 3 scores worse than the average SEC playoff team

Jesus Christ himself could've come down and played QB and there still would be zero chance for OU to be even close. Thinking Mahomes would've made a difference in the outcome is an insult the game plan Aranda had and the defensive players who executed it.
