Like I said earlier ITT, Oklahoma lost this more than Bama won it.

They can't do that against Indiana.

Bama way too talented. Time and time again they’ve saved their best game for the biggest game. Every time people say Bama didn’t deserve to be there they prove people wrong. 2011. 2017.

Indiana hasn’t seen SEC speed all year

Bet your LIFE SAVINGS on Alabama + 6.5. You will never get that good of odds on Bama in a big game ever again.

1998 KSU and 2010 Boise weren't lightning in a bottle. They were each at least top 6 in the preseason polls and you could make an argument that they were each the most talented team in the country those respective years.

By feel-good story/legit team overlap, I mean a historically inferior program having a team that's legit on the level of the traditional powers. Not a 2008 Texas Tech/2012 KSU situation where it was an overperforming team that got exposed.

Indiana isn't an over-performer.

We'll agree to disagree on this

You don't think Ohio State has "SEC speed" and aren't loaded with 1st round draft picks. Bama very well could beat Indiana but to say they haven't seen SEC speed all year is laughable.

I agree they’re legit but I also question the impact of them losing their star DL guy.

Ohio State is pretty comparable and they beat them.

I never said Indiana was overperforming. I think they're just like 1998 KSU/2010 Boise. They're absolutely legit but also a feel-good story. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

Well, that's certainly an opinion.

Indiana impressed me going to Oregon and beating them with ease. Then they actually beat Ohio State.

I expect Bama to win, but nothing would surprise me here.

If the Bama team was literally any other program, I'd pick Indiana handily. Bama just finds ways to break hearts.

Should be a good game, I think. Indiana is a great team. Our guys have a lot of guts and heart and will fight hard.

I think the layoff is going to hurt IU against a Bama who just got a hell of a warmup. Bama's going to back themselves into another win.

Ohio State will have like 25 guys drafted off that roster.

I agree with this. Neutral site, coming off a bye. Alabama travels too. I’d probably buy the point and make it 7.5 though

I’ve seen Bama make very few big plays over the last month or so. I haven’t seen Bama beat up or out physical a (real) team in that time span either. You can laugh all you want but at a certain point this is your identity

Yes I have. What is this Alabama team actually good at? They just got carved for a half by an absolutely horrific OU offense, like one of the worst in major college football. It’s a crime they are even playing for anything but that’s the system in place. This is not a real contender for any hardware

Bama has been in slightly more battles and may have a battle tested advantage although IU had some crucial situations as well. Indiana has proved to be the better team all year but in one game bama is capable of at least putting a scare in #1

Exactly. They got an horrific pick six gift, a blocked punt deep into OU territory after OUs punter inexplicably dropped the ball as he was going into his kick, and had a 13 yard FG drive after OU punted from deep into a stiff wind. Flipped the game momentum on a dime. That kind of low probability sequence isn’t likely to happen against Indiana.

They put up 260 yards and the degree of difficulty goes up against Indianas D.
