I hate it. But not not liking the Braves chances. They just can’t get the bats going.

Too many injuries my friend. Expect the exodus of good players to continue; Fried is probably gone like Freeman and Swanson. The GM keeps signing has beens who were with the Braves when the won the Series: Duvall, Rosario, Soler, etc. Trading Contreras was also dumb.

This was easily the worst trade the Braves have made since they sent Texas a haul for Teixeira without having any assurances Teixeira would re-sign. Contreras is already better than Sean Murphy.

He should have been fired after the NLDS Game 3 last season when he let Elder pitch to Harper a second time (predictably giving up a 3 run HR), and then had fricking Michael Tonkin as the first man out of the bullpen when they were down 4-1 (which quickly turned into 6 or 7-1). Snit is great at keeping a clubhouse together, but he is tactically horrendous and that has been magnified this year when the home runs aren't flying like they were in the last few years. Snit's biggest flaw is that he doesn't seem to understand that a high leverage at bat can happen before the 7th inning.
Snit isn't the problem this year. The players are. But he hasn't done them any favors with his bullpen management.

Name me a player that was playing well prior to getting hurt. And if you tell me they wouldn't have played that poorly the entire season, I can show you the majority of the roster that has indeed played that poorly the entire season.
