Pay no mind to the likes of him, nor the Texas Tigers who weren't good enough to get into UT and now bandwagon the Astros when they are good and dont give a second thought about them when they aren't

I never said they played at the same time. I'm going back almost 50 years off of memory, I mean come on. Not gonna do like most here and Google who played when. Back then I got to watch them on tv now and then because they're a large market team. We didn't have cable tv until I was 13 so I kept up with them through the newspaper also. When we did get cable I was able to watch them more often through WGN (Cubs), WOR (Mets), and TBS (Braves). I lived in Louisiana. It's "pick a team wherever". Not everyone was automatically an Astros or Rangers fan.

Mark Walter originally wanted to buy the Astros back in 2011. They wanted a “Houston” guy, however, so told him no dice and Jim Crane bought the team. Following year Mark and co. buy the Dodgers.
