Interested in this as well. I've tried mlb tv through the app as well as purchased mlb package from dish and still blacked out.

I think you're only legal options is going to DirecTV as they're the only provider carrying AT&T SportsNet in the area.

Get an Amazon firestick or Android box and put Kodi on it. You can watch any game you want with that. There's a couple of threads on the tech board on how to get it all setup.

A friend once told me about a biz called crackstreams. He also told me about another one called methstreams.

He may just be an addict, though.

I believe if you use a VPN and set up your "location" as somewhere out of the market area, you can watch them.

MLB's blackout rules are stupid. I can understand blackouts for home games as a means to encourage attendance (to an extent) but if the Astros are playing Seattle, what good does a blackout in Louisiana do?

You wanna see how dumb the policy is? Guam is blacked out of all SF and Oakland games.

Fubo is a streaming service that carries AT&T Southwest, the Astros network, along with all of the ESPNs, Fox networks and the local channels.

There are a lot of other ways to get it around VPN and other sites that may or may not be reputable.

List of the best streaming sites in my opinion:

Streameast - The best in my opinion.
Sportsurge
Buffstream
Crackstream
Methstream

All are legit and you shouldnt have too hard a time finding the games. I use these to watch every saints game and RedZone all year. Also any UFC or any other sport. You get the idea. Shits easy peasy.

FuboTV has ATT SportsNet. $70 bucks a month to watch the Astros if that’s what you want to do. Full cable streaming.

Otherwise the $35 rest of season MLB TV and then subscribe to Unlocator. It worked for MlB TV a couple years ago

Did you not read the OP? Also have you ever heard of the Zephyrs? They essentially ran that minor league team into the ground and then pulled its affiliation.

The few times when I was away and tried this, there were a ton of ads and it doesn't look like your TV screen at all. I thought the viewing experience was horrible. But I guess you get what you pay for.

I did, and your response does not make sense.

How exactly did the Astros run the Zephyrs into the ground?

If you believe the Astros were the only team using The Baserunner Method in 2017-18, you are mistaken. The Red Sox used it and were punished (see Apple watches and JT Watkins). Also, the Dodgers used it (see Joc Pederson) and the Yankees also used it (see unsealed letter that the Yankees begged a judge not to release). The Cleveland Indians/Guardians were also using the Baserunner Method.

If you want to strip the Astros of their 2017 WS title and 2018 AL West title that’s fine, but at the same time you also need to strip the Red Sox of their 2018 WS Title and 2017 AL East Title, the Cleveland Indians/Guardians of their 2017 and 2018 AL Central titles, the LA Dodgers of their 2017 and 2018 NL Pennants, and the NY Yankees of their 2017 “Wild Card Championship.”
