Milwaukee could ship me off to Jackson, Ms if I were getting paid Jrue’s salary. What an entitled lady. Social media is more of a curse than a blessing.

Jrue and Lauren Holiday come across as REALLY good people that give a shitload to the community, are actively involved and have had their own significant issues (brain tumors and so on).

I don't blame her for her feelings. It is a business but I understand what she is trying to say.

Millionaire problems!

Give me a fricking break!

Jrue can go to Portland (he’s on the road half of the year anyhow) and the family can continue to live in Milwaukee

They knew the nature of the beast going into it. The trade off is they make $100M over the course of a career. People get transferred in corporate life for much less than that and they take it or find another job. Jrue has that option as well.

Lmao, wasn’t expecting the white knighting in here for 1% hundred millionaire’s that willingly accept this possibility upon signing their employment contract for said millions.

Cry me a river.

Her husband can just quit his job.

Poor little wife.

Life is unbearable.

That is why he gets paid millions and not $25 an hour
My only issue is if you get traded to NY or California the taxes are much more the play should be compensated fo that financial loss.

I don’t really see the problem. It’s hard uprooting your family no matter how much money you have

I take it as she put it out there for public consumption, meaning she wanted a reaction.

I’m on a sports discussion board to discuss sports related topics, which doesn’t make me mentally ill per se, nor does the fact I’d like to post my response to the topic.

IMHO, she comes across as extremely tone deaf, though I can respect and understand her feelings.

Ultimately, While the nature of her husbands job might have the downside of a need to relocate on short notice, suffice to say it provides tremendous advantages to her and her children than 99 percent of others would not. Considering that, it does seem in poor taste to publicly complain.

Can his family just stay in Milwaukee, and Jrue rent out a condo in Boston or something? I don’t get the big uproar from his wife.
yep he’s made over 300 million as another poster said. It’s nothing for him to keep his home in Milwaukee and rent a place in Boston during the season.

Can they just say no? They aren’t being forced to move. Retire and say no to the multi million dollars. I’d move my family in a heartbeat for a fraction of what he makes. The kids will learn one day it was in their best interest

But Jrue isn't the type who wants to be away from his family.

He probably has strange lined up in every league city.

I mean they have hundreds of millions of dollars. In theory they don’t HAVE to do anything.

Jesus you people are insufferable.

Everyone bitches about NBA players demanding trades and picking where they want to go.

It's actually refreshing to see one that has loyalty to the team and community. Not to mention they seem like good people.

Sure, nobody should lose sleep over it, but it's his wife sending the message and the point is more towards not having the common decency of giving them a heads up.

The amount of money he makes doesn’t disallow her from feeling sad that they have to relocate during the school year and start over with building relationships..

Now she needs get over it bc the blessings outweigh the inconvenience but she seems like your typical emotional female
