Remember guys, we need to heal as a country. I didn't vote for either of those two morons, but this is laughably soft if true.

This is why we have to get serious about boycotting the boycotters.

There are 5-10 other reasons that have been cited too. But the politards will latch onto this bc their whole identity is tied to their political
Party.

Harden didn't know that a rich white guy supported the Republican party?

He's dumber than I thought.

Most white billionaires and corporations support the DNC though.

If anything ultra rich Harden was upset he did not follow the One True Party.

I wouldn't even believe this for a nanosecond. At the start of the NBA bubble, the same people praising him for this (allegedly) were lighting into him for wearing a thin blue line mask

Harden also wore a Blue Lives Matter mask at one time. I doubt harden cares that much about politics.

ESPN radio in Houston was calling this report complete crap this morning.

Eta: thin blue line mask

Harden was actually the only player that I saw to publically voice support for police.

Why is everyone forgetting this?

And let's not sit here and act like all of these millionaire players are going full (D) tickets, at the minimum a large chunk are split ballots.

If you talk to anyone that plays in the NBA or NFL, you'll know that inside that locker room you've never seen a bigger group of Republicans. They have more to lose than most people on this board.

I call BS. They’re all mostly 20s and early 30s, and not that much removed from their former lives and their colleges

How many have you talked to? Because I call bullshite on this generalization.

8 NFL, 2 NBA

Could that be purely sample size. Absolutely, but the consistent nature of stories makes me think otherwise.

Are they wearing MAGA hats. No. They likely voted Biden. But they're also keenly well aware of tax implications.

bullshite. Half of these players barely have a HS education and that's only because their sports academies carried them to keep them eligible. You think that they are even cognizant of the tax code and how damaging confiscatory Democratic policy is to them? GTFO.

Weird, considering Fertitta reprimanded his GM for daring to voice disapproval of China’s suppressive government.

1) This board's belief in its own relative intelligence level is astounding

2) You do realize all of these players have financial advisors as rookies now, correct?

#2 doesn't mean they're now shitty RIAs or anything, but they are keenly well aware of tax implications after they receive their first paycheck or before.

I agree, but that kinda means that they’ve given up on having conservative white guys as fans.

Not everyone who is a conservative has a problem with people who are on the other side. That is an agenda that the media and the political Parties have successfully tried to push. They want nothing more than to divide. it is very easy to have an opinion on the issues without falling into the propaganda, partisan bullshite.
