Yeah, she's not a balletic type. I remember the Russian coach complaining about that. I understand her point - she likes the old school, Russian/Soviet approach and I do as well, but Simone's talent and skill does a lot to override any attachment to style points.
Rivera is making it tough to leave her off the squad. Roberson up on floor. She needs a good score here.

I don’t know how long she’s been at WCC, but they probably needed to send her sooner. However, Biles stayed with her original Bannon’s coaches thru her first Olympics. It’s usually bars that needs fixing because coaches that haven’t had elites have a hard time teaching those big skills and often don’t even have the rigs they need.

Roberson has a great routine. US Olympic Trials have a great energy. This is why I always say, sports should bring us together. This event has had it all, from Simone and comeback stories like Suni, young talent, unfortunate injuries. Lots of drama and storylines. It's hard to pick this team, I can't imagine how much more difficult it would be if Shilese, Kayla, and Skye were out there.

Is there any chance we could take Shilese if she’s not as hurt as we think she is and then put Hezly and Jocelyn as the alternates?

Nah. She wasn’t gonna be picked for beam anyways.
She’s vault, floor, and bars. Beam honestly doesn’t really matter for her at all (outside of possible all around)

USAG had a tweet that she was out and I took that to mean, no more consideration. I'm guessing that meant bad news on the injury. So, I'm thinking she's done.

I think Jade adding the second vault helps a lot for her as well.
