Foley has said he actually died for a few moments after that fall.

That was fricking insane.

I’m going to go way back … Nature Boy Buddy Rogers and Pat O’Connor before 39,000 people in Comiskey Park in Chicago in 1961.

For me, Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs Goldberg in Atlanta 1998.

It felt like a free PPV and Goldberg finally slayed the dragon. It was fricking wild for 8 year old me

ETA- Just saw someone else post this picture. I don’t think wrestling peaked after this moment. 2000-2001 WWF was pretty fricking amazing, but it was starting to lose its “cool factor”

None. There’s nothing great about half naked dudes dry humping and fondling each other.

Foleys documentary is amazing.

I watched wrestling until I was 13 or so. Now I’m fascinated with where those guys are because of the interesting life’s they live.

That’s a contender as is the match where Jerry Lawler and Bill Dundee and Wayne Farris (Honky Tonk Man) and Larry Latham destroyed the concession stand in Tupelo.
